📊 What We Collect

Health and Fitness Data

What We Collect: Workout sessions (exercises, sets, reps, weights), training schedule, progress metrics, heart rate data (when Apple Watch is paired)

How We Use It: Personalize your workout experience, track fitness progress, generate smart recommendations, sync with Apple Health (optional)

Where It's Stored: Locally on your device only. We do NOT upload your workout data to any servers or share your fitness data with third parties.

Usage and Analytics Data

What We Collect: App usage patterns, crash reports, performance metrics

How We Use It: Improve app stability, understand valuable features, fix bugs and technical issues

Collection Method: Anonymous analytics (NOT linked to your identity), aggregate data only

Advertising Data (Free Tier Users Only)

What AdMob Does NOT Do: Track you across apps/websites, build a profile of your interests, share your data with advertisers

Opt-Out Options: You can limit ad tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Limit Ad Tracking, or upgrade to Premium to remove all ads

Premium Users: Premium subscribers see NO advertisements. AdMob is completely disabled and no advertising data is collected.

Local Data Storage

All your workout data, preferences, and personal information are stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage mechanisms.

  • No cloud storage of personal data
  • No remote servers processing your information
  • Data encrypted using iOS security features

HealthKit Integration

HomeGym Pro integrates with Apple HealthKit to sync your workout data with the Health app, but this data never leaves your device.

  • Health data access requires your explicit permission
  • You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings
  • Data syncs locally between HomeGym Pro and the Health app

What We Don't Collect

Payment Privacy

For premium features available through subscription:

  • Payment Processing: Handled entirely by Apple through the App Store
  • No Payment Data: We never receive or store your payment information

Technical Details

Data Storage

HomeGym Pro uses iOS Core Data and Keychain services to store your information securely on your device. This data is included in your device backups but remains encrypted and inaccessible to us.

App Updates

When you update HomeGym Pro through the App Store, no personal information is transmitted to us. The App Store handles the update process independently.

Crash Reports

If you opt in to share crash data with Apple, technical information about app crashes may be sent to Apple and shared with us. This data does not include your personal fitness information.

🔒 2025 Privacy Manifest Compliance

HomeGym Pro includes a Privacy Manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) as required by Apple since May 2024. This manifest declares:

📱 Required API Usage

  • User Defaults: Storing app preferences and settings locally
  • File System: Managing local workout data storage efficiently
  • System Boot Time: Performance monitoring and crash reporting
  • File Timestamps: Tracking when workouts were created or modified

All API usage includes proper reason codes and complies with Apple's 2025 requirements.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored on your device, you have complete control:

  • Access: All your data is accessible within the app
  • Export: Data can be exported through Apple Health's export feature
  • Delete: Simply delete the app to remove all data
  • Portability: Your data syncs with Apple Health for use with other apps
  • Privacy Control: Manage all permissions through iOS Settings
  • Ad Opt-Out: Limit ad tracking in Settings or upgrade to Premium

International Users

GDPR (EU Users): Right to access, delete, opt-out of advertising, and data portability

CCPA (California Users): Right to know what data we collect, delete your data, opt-out of data "sales" (we don't sell data)
