Privacy-First Design

ClarityFlow is built from the ground up with your privacy in mind. Your tracking data, symptoms, decisions, and all personal information stay on your device, always.

What We Don’t Collect

❌ Personal Information

No names, emails, phone numbers, or contact information unless you voluntarily contact us for support.

❌ Tracking Data

Your symptoms, decisions, habits, meals, and all entries stay on your device. We never see or store this data.

❌ Usage Analytics

We don’t track how you use the app or collect behavioral data.

❌ Location Data

ClarityFlow doesn’t access or store your location information.

❌ Third-Party Analytics

No Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or other third-party tracking services.

What We Do

✅ Local Data Storage

All your tracking data, entries, and personal information are stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage mechanisms:

• Core Data for efficient local database storage
• iOS Keychain for sensitive credentials
• All data encrypted using iOS security features
• Data included in your device backups (encrypted)

✅ On-Device AI Processing

Pattern discovery and AI insights run entirely on your device:

• No data sent to cloud servers for analysis
• All AI computations happen locally
• Your patterns and insights never leave your device

✅ Optional iCloud Backup

If you enable iCloud backup in Pro:

• Data encrypted end-to-end by Apple
• Only you can access your data
• We cannot access your iCloud data

Technical Details

Data Storage

ClarityFlow uses iOS Core Data and Keychain services to store your information securely on your device. This data is included in your encrypted device backups but remains inaccessible to us.

App Updates

When you update ClarityFlow through the App Store, no personal information is transmitted to us. The App Store handles the update process independently.

Crash Reports

If you opt in to share crash data with Apple, technical information about app crashes may be sent to Apple and shared with us. This data does not include your personal tracking information.

Subscription & Payment Privacy

For premium features available through subscription:

• Payment Processing: Handled entirely by Apple through the App Store
• No Payment Data: We never receive or store your payment information
• Subscription Status: Verified locally using Apple’s secure StoreKit 2 APIs
• Receipt Validation: Uses modern StoreKit 2 secure validation

Your Rights

Since all data is stored on your device, you have complete control:

• Access: All your data is accessible within the app
• Export: Data can be exported from the app
• Delete: Simply delete the app to remove all data
• Portability: Export your data to use with other tools
• Privacy Control: Manage all permissions through iOS Settings

Data Retention

• Local Storage: Data remains on your device until you delete the app
• iCloud Backup: If enabled, data stored in iCloud follows Apple’s retention policy
• After App Deletion: All local data is permanently deleted when you delete the app

Third-Party Services

ClarityFlow does not integrate with any third-party services for analytics, advertising, or data collection.

The only third-party integration is:

• Apple StoreKit: For subscription management (handled entirely by Apple)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through:

• In-app notifications
• Updated posting on our website

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new privacy policy.

Children’s Privacy

ClarityFlow is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us.

International Users

ClarityFlow is designed for users worldwide. Since all data is stored locally on your device, your data is subject to the privacy laws of your jurisdiction.
